:: General Staff ::

We would like to introduce you to the staff at Eads Animal Hospital. These friendly caregivers are sure to go the extra mile to pamper your pet.

First up are our receptionists. They will help you with everything from doctor visits to heartworm prevention purchases. They are committed to making sure your visit is as comfortable and efficient as possible.

Next are our technicians. These puppy and kitten nurses are specially trained in everything from walking dogs to assisting in orthopedic surgeries. Feel free to ask them anything you want to know concerning your pet’s health, whether it’s what to get your baby for chewing or what type of medications he or she will need to make them feel better. This crew is devoted to keeping all of your “babies” as healthy and happy as possible.

Our kennel staff can also assist you in keeping your pet as comfortable as possible during his or her time away from home. They make sure your pet(s) have plenty of play time and a nice, clean, comfy “house” to nap in when play time is over. They even have a stereo in the back to get them dancin’ or rock them to sleep.

We also have a very skilled grooming staff available six days a week from 7:30 a.m. until Noon. They will meet with you when you drop off your pet to get a very specific idea of what you want, whether it is a dramatic fur changing make over or simply a bath with a few bows.

We have a management team that will be glad to help you with any other questions or concerns that you may have. Tammy Burnett is our Office Manager, Maie Meerkamper is our Business Manager, and RT Jennifer Morton is both Kennel and Technician Manager. They are here to assist you with anything that you or your pet may need.

Everyone at Eads Animal Hospital is happy to assist you and your pet in any way possible. Come by and meet us in person and take a tour of our facilities. We will be glad to show you around and answer any questions you may have.

:: Dr. Tim Montague ::

After receiving his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983, Dr. Tim has worked and owned several clinics in the Memphis area. He is happily married and has two children, Garrett (17), and Caitie (11). He enjoys outdoor activities like hunting, and fishing, woodworking, and sports in his spare time. He also cattle farms and has raised fourteen US National Top 10 Arabian horses. Dr. Tim is also very active in the community. He has been on the Board of Directors of Tipton Rosemark Academy for the past six years, coaches baseball and basketball,and lectures about laser surgery to collegues. He is also an active member of First Baptist Millington where he serves as deacon and leads a FAITH team. He has been certified to perform Penn Hip, and TPLO surgery, and has had advanced training in the areas of laser surgery, canine reproductive techniques, dental procedures, and other orthopedic surgeries like the total hip. His interests at Eads Animal Hospital are in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, and dental medicine.

:: Dr. Sandra Montague ::

Dr. Sandy also received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. She has practiced and owned a couple of clinics around the Memphis area. She has been happily married to Dr. Tim for 23 years and has two children, Garrett and Caitie. She enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and hiking when away from the hospital. She is also an active member of First Baptist Millington, and participates in community awareness programs. Dr. Sandy has had advanced courses in dental procedures and laser surgery. Her interests at Eads Animal Hospital are in internal medicine, behavior, and reproduction.

:: Dr. Traci Dixon ::

Dr. Dixon has worked with our team for about six years and currently works on Wednesdays. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 1991. She is happily married and has four dogs and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like hunting and fishing, and spending time with her family. Her interests are in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine.

:: Dr. Jennifer Epling ::

Dr. Epling joined the Eads family in June 2005 after receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys all things creative (art, crafts, music, literature, cooking), and spending time with family and friends when away from the hospital. She is has been involved with her local church, community outreach activities (Habitat for Humanity, Angel Tree). Dr. Epling has had advanced courses in dental procedures. Her interests at Eads Animal Hospital are client education, internal medicine, and preventative medicine.

:: Dr. Joanna Royals ::

Dr. Royals joined our team August of 2005. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2001. She has worked professionally in Kentucky, and has most recently worked the past three years in Gainesville, Florida. She is happily married and has four dogs and two cats. She enjoys outdoor activities, reading, antiquing, and spending time with her family in her free time. She has also been involved with several rescue organizations, the SPCA, and participated in a feral cat spay/neuter program. Dr. Royals has had advanced courses in dental procedures. Her interests at Eads Animal Hospital include senior wellness, preventative medicine, dermatology, and internal medicine.
